It's like in Rocky 4 when they punch so hard, even when they don't hit their opponent, they still knock them back!

What I've got to say about this one is that it greatly resembles the majority of political arguments I've ever heard of or seen in person: A minority of the original participants and spectators turn into raving loonies that "take it to the next level" while everyone else who is more grounded leaves them to it and goes to do something more interesting or useful. In that light the palette changes work as a visual metaphor for how the overly enthusiastic start to drift further and further away from consensus reality.

Did you realize you were making a political cartoon before you published it? :)

To quote myself in one of my uni writing workshops "uh, yes, that was definitely intentional!"

Of course it was intentional, and we know this because, "I have a giant brain, that is able to reduce any complex machine into a simple yes or no answer." (From Knifin' Around.)

Congratulations either way, perhaps it's fuel for your next semi-hiatus, or even a full one.
