What's worse than being forced to think about your blood relative having sex?
Being forced to think about your blood relative having sex with your boss.

I don't think Seth is still thinking at this point.
He's just... shut down.

I suppose that may answer some questions about whether or not he can process feelings of fear and disgust while too stunned to think.

WTH, is that a Sonichuu reference? I sincerely hope it isn't but I fear that it may be.

Even if it turns out you're not right, thank you. Thank you for the the excuse to stop thinking about the stand out example of embarrassment on the internet, I can't handle that much cringe so soon after eating.

Weren't they going over to her place where the "better" beer is? I guess not. It's a shame Paul isn't here to be another witness.

I'm also saddened that Jon's attempts to hide this have ended in disaster before he could even speak. Jon's failure to understand and account for his inability to lie to Seth deserves its chance to shine! And then it needs to montage through at least a half dozen variants of Jon trying harder but still failing embarrassingly badly, until he either learns not to lie to Seth or figures out how.

Enjoying the news about the variant that's scaring everybody and spreading too fast, or is it something different?

I imagine Seth went back home eventually and she came over the next morning make sure he wasn't dead from a hangover or something.

Yeah honestly I think Jon's still asleep at this point otherwise he would have told her "don't go out there, let me sort this!" and then making it ten million times worse. I'm not sure how, but... he'd find a way

And nah I meant their morning, I wrote that author note in November I think, our news is too depressing

Oh, hmm, I missed that this is the next morning. If they were making any effort at all to hide it from Seth then they should've sneaked her back home in the middle of the night. I wonder who there is on Tilly's end to congratulate, mock, complain or help her deal with her morning of aftermath?

Jon wouldn't even have to do anything and you know it. He would know he's hiding something, so he'd act oddly, nervously, and paranoid. Seth, Anna, or both would notice that, or Anna would tease Jon and he'd overreact to it, and everything would become the nominal 10^8 times worse simply because they'd be prepared for there to be *something* up.

Of course, with Tilly totally out of her element, and also trying not to show Jon what a bitch she is, Tilly wouldn't aggressively pursue a round two of kamikaze tongue attacking Anna. In that case what would make it worse is how they would invite her to stay for breakfast, and gush over how cute they are together, and generally act infuriatingly knowing--patronizing--and smug. Jon and Tilly would wither and cringe under the attention while they want to hide their awkward, but they would not be able to until Anna and Seth had both gotten their sadistic fill of sharing stories about awkward mornings after and asking about whether they used protection, and so on. Anna would take the lead on it at first, but Seth would then catch on to what she's doing and join in with gusto because it's even better for him to take his pound of flesh by acting *nice* to the horrible boss monster.

That's not the only way it could go, but it is the one that came to mind first when I think about it. It might not break into panels well though, or not without splitting it up into multiple scenes or making an extra long comic.

I had the reaction that Seth had the other day whilst driving around in the mountains. Except mine was that it was a middle aged Indian man who was completely starkers at the start of a hiking trail. I have truly seen it all now.

Poor Seth. :D

Yeah while writing this I was like "considering I've established how thin the walls are in their building, she definitely heard all of that" so probably she did, she's just focused on leaving ASAP
