A simple inquiry at Stoker's Bazaar would probably reveal that for any purchase over a certain amount, patrons get a complimentary demon that doubles as a loyalty card.

"Can I stamp your loyalty demon?"
"Do you have a death wish?"

This would be so much more hilarious if she still didn't know/remember Seth's name.

I have to wonder, is it love, lust, impatience with other people having a dumb argument or something else that motivates Gemma to step up here? If she answered at all she'd probably say it's the second and/or third I'd imagine.

Despite despitor despoiling the despondent dimwit don't drop drive for deliverance of deadline diversion.

She'd definitely plead the second on that one. "When you finally find a cute dude who's got compatible kinks, you don't just kick that to the curb, and that's DEFINITELY THE ONLY REASON I'M STILL SEEING HIM."

Maybe the impatience too, but that would be more of like a fringe benefit.

Shutting up whiny geeks is only a secondary motivation for her? She's got it bad.

Considering how strongly Gemma leans on her downstairs appetites to justify her actions she might be doing a better job of being the bloke in the relationship than Seth is. This gets doubled with her mustering physical courage to rescue Seth from peril. Next she's going to be the one moving furniture for him, and dressing him in an embarrassingly short skirt for quick access when she wants to bend him over some furniture and have her way with him. Yes, I know, they're called, "kilts," but they're the same thing.

Oh they gave up on traditional gender roles long ago

Heck, I think they gave up on traditional couple roles, at least on some level

I suppose that would be a good thing for their future relationship prospects if Seth ever grows up enough to responsibly have a family. Firm reliance on turgidly inflexible gender roles, that are obsolete now too on top of all their other issues, is its own recipe for disaster.
