Ken was very nearly Hans, but the idea of a skinny bookworm dressing up as Gaston was too funny so he’s Gaston.

Also Yusuke and Botan are not a canon couple, Seth is either revealing his preferred ship or his crush on Botan or both.

Okay, in your defence, I just checked, and his outfit does look kind of like Doc's haha. Kinda wish I'd noticed it so people could guess wrong all night until eventually he's like "yeah, I'm Doc, whatever"

She's not quite got the body type to be Ursula, but she's got the evil witch vibe going nonetheless

At this rate she'll have to give up her voice to force Seth into an appropriate costume

Why would Ken do that to himself? Surely there is a Disney villain he fits with better visually, character-wise, and in how fun it would be to play their role.

If we're going to be casting against type for lulz we can do better than Anna as Ursula: Seth as Ursula, Anna as Snow White's stepmother, and Gemma as the royal vizier Jafar.
(Cross-dressing character genders were chosen to reflect certain apparent gender roles during Gemma and Seth's strap-on nights, as much as for the character clash.)

I wanna say he dressed as Gaston ironically, but really I just thought it was funny

Considering Ursula's design was inspired by a drag queen, a little gender nonconformity surrounding her character makes sense! (though let's be real if Gemma is Jafar Seth is Iago)

It's a bit like showing Queen Elizabeth walking around doing her mincing little twist-wave like normal, then suddenly she tears off the dress revealing one of the early-career Jennifer Lopez outfits and starts trying to twerk. Sure, a reasonable case can be made to call this funny, but a great many people would be too caught up in wondering what the flying fuck. For them the humour may be overshadowed by questions of how, why, whether or not that's actually Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor or someone else acting with her permission and cooperation, why on Earth she would do that, and whether she is about to fall and break herself, for them to actually like the joke.

Yeah, Seth is definitely minion-tier in confidence, competence, smarts and ambition. The game was casting against type though, which is why I placed him as the calamitous, usurping sorceress that nearly took over the sea with an impressive combination of wit, guile, power and planning. By that criterion I think I did well with Seth, and not as well with Anna and Gemma.

Casting Disney villains against type, I guess a good fit for Anna would be assistant mayor Bellwether, and Gemma... Rattigan perhaps?

That is a far more impressive clash for Anna, even if it were not the best possible pick it might be dangerous to sanity to try and find a better one so let's stop.

Gemma as Ratigan... hmm. Both are rather a bit misanthropic if I'm reading Gemma right. That makes this all a bit harder, because Disney Villains tend to mostly be pretty awful jerks. It doesn't help that I don't know much about Gemma yet besides her being a touch sardonic and annoyed with humanity from working in fast food, that she has coloured hair and (?) heavy makeup which implies a bit of vanity, she has a fetish that makes it difficult for her to date, and she also has enough of a taste for booze to show up making a drunken booty call. Is she just a frustrated hedonist?

YU YU HAKUSHO HOLY SHIT YESSSS

I was annoyed at Seth for being a total dick to Jon but now he's back up high on my list. Because he likes a show I like.

I am a very discerning fan.
