"Rrrruurrrurrrkk!!!"

Translation: "Kill the offworlders!"

Yeah, someone may have grown up with the original Star Wars trilogy and played the original Knights of the Old Republic cRPG back in the day. Some great Tatooine/Sand People lore in that game. :)

Eh, Seth just lacks vision and focus. I'm sure he could have made a giant mound castle if he'd put a little effort into it. ;D

I'm guessing here, but it looks like Seth got started making a "castle" while Ken was busy making his foundation and had so much fun with it. Then after Ken got started with the actual building, and he saw what a straight and square sand castle looks like, he noticed his wobbly blob of sand was horribly lopsided and skewed. Not wanting to lose Seth successively wrecked the whole thing by trying to redo all the uneven parts, and he kept scraping away more uneven parts and getting it wrong until there was nothing left to fix. So now he's restarting. Maybe he's restarting for the third time now, or the fifth, or even the tenth? Maybe his thirteenth time will be the charm: That's a lucky number, right? :)

Of course all of that's just a guess at how Seth failed, and there's so many other possible ways he could've messed up that I wouldn't be surprised if I was mostly wrong. :D

I think Ken is just a natural architectural genius who does sandcastling for fun while Seth's trying very hard but will forever be with the rest of us plebeians on the sandcastling competence spectrum.

Ken: It's just planning and preparedness - you could do it too if you tried

Seth: Totally an alien

Is Ken already done, and gone from the scene? I'm curious what his version of a victory lap is.

Also, I think I may have figured out the real reason why Gemma needs to make nice with Anna: She is doing all this to avoid the "nice car." But why? Does Gemma suffer from a condition that makes it dangerous to hold in all her sass, snark and snarling? Is it time to coin the word, "sassplosion," to describe such a hazard?

He's probably still got some fine tuning to do, but left it unattended for a bit...

Sassplosion is my new favourite word

Thank you for taking the time to adopt and inflict my acts of linguistic innovation on other people. :)

Anna and Gemma are learning to be more like friends by dunking on Seth's sand shed. What a beautiful blossoming relationship!

Also pff sand shed, wish I'd thought of that!

Seth's personality flaws in mind, I think it's kinda funny that Gemma still likes him and lets him call her his girlfriend after making it a point that she wasn't previously. Maybe she's really just that keen on irritating Anna? Either that or, gasp, she actually has feelings for Seth. Either way, we get to enjoy the traum... err... drama! :D

Never underestimate the personal importance of someone willing to accept and embrace our niche interests without complaint. Seth even seems to have a little enthusiasm.for one of Gemma's noteworthy particularities, which probably goes a long way towards motivating her to be patient and accepting of Seth and his issues. Perhaps she just feels accepting him calling her his girlfriend and acting the part a little is a fair trade for being her willing fetish slave, but it could also be more than that: Feelings regularly blossom over far lesser cause than acceptance of our idiosyncrasies.
