The notepads from my university days are in fact all filled to the brim with doodlings of dinosaurs!!
(Though I don't remember ever drawing one on a friggin' exam sheet...)

Dinos - good for notes, bad for exams, that's my motto

I foresee that Ken may end up exasperated with Jon at some point. Please show us what Ken is like when he is exasperated. At this point he's merely reaping just desserts for his platonic groping, and I'm certain he can get much more annoyed than this. :)

Obviously the reason Jon has friends is because....
Hold on, that isn't it. How many friends does he have actually? I doubt that Anna would count, I'm mostly sure Karen does not count, are Ken and Ty the full list?

Unless I make significant changes to the future scripts I've drafted, you will indeed see Ken more than a little ruffled!

Oh god you're right. I know he considers Anna and Seth his friends, and Anna might count, I think Ken and Ty is the full list currently. Damn, son.

Very nice, but I'm not sure I'm physically capable of the appropriate, excited squeak of eager anticipation without hurting myself.

I'm not so sure friendship is what Jon's really thinking about with Anna. Maybe embarrassingly pining for friends-with-benefits would be slightly closer to the truth? Either way it's an embarrassingly awkward situation that could potentially get even more awkward. Like so:

"Jon, what are you doing?"
"It's nothing!"
"My little brother looking up clown costumes on the internet is nothing? I don't believe you. Now spill."
"Paul told me that the secret of his happiness and love life starts with learning how to be a clown. I don't want to die a virgin."
"No Jon, that's just evil and wrong. Don't go there."
"But...."
"No."
"Why...."
"No."
"Hold...."
"No!"
"Can I even get to finish a sentence here?"
"If you start saying something that isn't horribly daft I'll let you finish, but you're not are you? You're being so thick I'm embarrassed by it."
*sobbing* "Oh god, you're right."

I've really liked watching their friendship grow and develop
