Hey Jon how are you enjoying your first ever date so far?

Welp I messed up and uploaded the wrong page. It's fixed now, sorry for the confusion! And... sorry to the people who weren't here early enough to get a little spoiler I guess... ^_^;

(I'm aware this is a response to the wrong page I uploaded first, but I should reply anyway lol)

Nothing but pain for my boy!

It will be cruel then, it seems. :-D

But right now, they are getting off to a good start! Well... a start at least.

One thing you can say about this date is that it has started.

They're on a collision course to wackiness...or disaster.

Oops this was before I switched to the correct page... I guess I wanted my comic's upload schedule to match the nervous, confusing energy of their date right now?

I don't know if you've got Price is Right in the UK, but this would be one of those times for the fail horn from that game show.

To my knowledge we don't, but I think I know it through pop-culture osmosis!

Funny enough, even with the strip change it still fits! :D

Why am I already imagining that this whole date will involve Jon nigh-continuously being hassled, henpecked, nitpicked, bitched to, bitched at, bitched about, and physically assaulted? I also intuit that it will end in one of two ways: Either Tilly will do a remarkably unbelievable, "It's not you, it's me," speech or she'll be madly obsessed and possessive of Jon for specious and flimsy reasons.

Double or nothing: She already has the date and time she plans to take Jon's virginity written down on her calendar.

Okay that last part made me lol

Jon: What's that mark on your calendar two months from now?
Tilly: Oh, nothing!~

That probably wouldn't be the only thing she has planned, if she has planned that already.

She's terrifying, but you know, I kind of love her.

I feel similarly! (and probably so does Jon lol)

On the one hand, I think Jon does need somebody who will push him a little. On the other hand, anybody who's this perfectionist about date timing (particularly when it comes to being early rather than late) is already showing a red flag as far as them ever being happy with you and what you're putting into the relationship. Hopefully Tilly learns at least mild chill.

Tilly wants to learn Mild Chill! But she already has four moves. Forget a move?
...
Tilly did not learn Mild Chill.

Nah in all seriousness, I think you're right, they both have room to grow here! Will they actually experience that growth? All I know is my heart says maybe.

Seth: Huh? Why does my magic eight-ball say "Blood, Fire and Rain" when I ask how Jon's date will go? I've never seen that before.

*long pause*

Seth: Oh sh*t! Tilly!
