Finally this comic passes the Bechdel test, it only took me ten years.

Is that Jon’s date?

Pssst, the author updates the cast page.

It's actually Karen. We haven't seen her for a little while!

I bet the band-aid and the crack on the vending machine weren't there yet when Anna moved in...

But the fault reported note was definitely there when she moved in.

Indeed!

I can neither confirm nor deny that the machine has gained a few more cracks since Anna perfected her "technique"

What a coincidence, I used to work in a hospital where the soup machine required the same "technique".

I've had to use a similar technique on the vending machine at the hospital I work at...

Hospitals, am I right?

Huh, Karen looks better than the last time we saw her. She is only dressed for laundry day too.

*applauds authors that actually update their cast pages* Maybe you should include an older image too if you're not going to hide your old archives though?

It's understandable that it's a bit difficult to pass the Bechdel test when the two main characters are dudes that tend to hog the spotlight, and the main female character is Anna.

It's nice getting a chance to draw her in her own clothes! Even if it's just for laundry day

And that's a fair point, many characters look different when you go through the archives... I've been meaning to revamp the cast page, maybe that's what it's missing

And yeah, that was the main obstacle to passing the Bechdel test, but I'm still surprised it took me this long...

... Honestly, my mind is just blown by the realization that Waste of Time is turning ten years old so soon.

Also Karen looks great. Very well drawn. 10/10.

Also also taking a look at the cast page, it seems organized somehow... First row is obviously main characters, third row is Jon's coworkers, and second row has Paul, who Anna is together with, and Gemma, who Seth is basically with... That makes second row the love interest row! *starts aggressively shipping Jon with Ken*

Omg I didn't notice that before!

Huh, well spotted, I missed it because the pairings were not vertically aligned. Since Jon has finally noticed he likes boys (too?) maybe that ship can finally leave the drydock and set sail now.

Yeah, that's freaking me out a bit too... It's growing up so fast!

And thank you! I finally made a character reference sheet for her so I can draw her consistently! Only took me nearly ten years to get that done too... ._.;;

Yes, growing up so fast indeed! As opposed to its characters, who are just growing up so very slowly. Not that I'm rushing for them to change, of course; their childish petulance is hilarious.

Karen lives in the same complex as Jon now? Hoo boy, this has trouble written all over it. :D

I still think Karen is cute and he shouldn't have bungled that date so bad. Now he's got crazy Seth's boss in the mix, things could get dangerous. :D

You have to do this to my parent's oven now; if you use the elctric starter on the range it just keeps snapping and snapping over and over until it's given a few firm whacks
