He’s come so far.

I haven’t been a teenager in school in a very long time, but I assume kids are on their phones in lessons even more than they were back then.

I like Tilly's Fist Pump of Victory in panel four! :-D

Funny thing is, that wasn't meant to be a fist pump, but I can't not see it that way now!

Hahahaha this is cute! And I like how it seemed that Seth was using his power to make Jon do stuff that'd be good for him, rather than saying "today's horoscope says definitely don't jump off a cliff" or something.

Haven't you noticed that Seth loves his mopey, awkward, little brother? :)

He also loves messing with him ;)

He was definitely tempted, but he couldn't help but try to be nice while pranking him...

From what I know, actually using a phone to talk is what's unrepresentative here. They do texting instead because that way you don't have to ask your friend to repeat themself whenever the lesson gets too loud for you to hear them.

Er, wait... is Tilly not yet in tertiary? For one thing, that says something horrible about Seth's ability to move up in the workplace. For another thing, does that make her perhaps a little younger than Jon would find socially acceptable in a prospective romantic partner?

Yeah, true, I don't remember too many people actually talking on their phone in lessons (though some definitely did, it was just rare).

So, Tilly is wrapping up her first year of sixth form, which in her school's case is in the same building as her secondary school (and I was feeling extra sadistic, so decided sixth-formers have to wear the school uniform as well), making her 17, almost 18. Jon is almost 19, so although the age gap itself isn't that big, whether it's appropriate for a university student to consider dating a sixth-former is up for debate.

The Americans have a guideline for the dating age boundaries that this seems to satisfy: If the younger partner is at least seven years plus half the age of the older partner then it's only awkward at worst. If anything I'd call this awkward in the other direction since she seems to be more socially capable than Jon, and possibly richer or more privileged too.

Don't do it, Jon! She's actually a bear!

This page is weirdly satisfying color-wise. Something about the red/blue contrast and the fact that John actually looks like he's in a different type of light. Bravo.

I'm glad the colours look nice! I wanted to highlight how they're in very different locations, but wasn't sure if I pulled it off in a way that was also pleasing to the eye, so thank you!

Tilly's design endlessly fascinates me. Like, it fits her role well enough for me to let it be if it's just what it is, but it's one of those wild artistic cues that I would totally also accept as foreshadowing that Tilly is some kind of extradimensional entity masquerading as a native of the WoT universe xD
