In Anna’s defence... I once went on a date not knowing it was a date. A third party had to inform me that it was in fact a date. It happens.

Ship art is done, you may now see the Jon x Paul ship, which I tentatively call Joul! Click here for Joul smooches

Huh, wonder how long it took Anna before she realized she had a boyfriend?

Dear lord, the ship art looks like they are really into it. Great job!

Yeeeeah, it was a couple of months... Lol

And thanks! I'm planning on making the ship art polls a semi regular thing because it was pretty fun!

"It's called a sex-fight, City. We fuck, and the first one to cum loses."
"Why are we doing this right here, and right now, though?"

Yeah, it seems like she might agree to nearly anything that gets posed as a fight or other competitive challenge under the right circumstances, or even propose it herself.

To be fair, whether or not a 'date' means anything at all to either (or any) of the participants is mostly subjective. I am fully sympathetic to the idea of not counting something as a date that other people might define as one, and that can go as far as not noticing that your co-participant(s) may consider it one.

I dunno what to say about the Jon x Paul piece, because I'm not sure how well that pose and those actions fit with their characters. Maybe if I'd read the slash-fic, lead-in script to this moment I could see it. Without that it only puzzles me.

That's true--I guess in my case it was a matter of intent. He intended to ask me out, and I got the wrong end of the stick XD

With the ship art, I was aiming to capture a feeling/mood, rather than a moment in time. In this case, two contrasting feelings: Paul being in romance mode, and Jon being in a "if you can't beat 'em... snog 'em" mindset.
