Short haired Paul is the hero Fairliestoke deserves, but not the one it needs right now.

*gasp* The dark truth revealed! You’s sleepin’ with tha *enemy*, kids! Bollege and Uni are having a ball where two star-crossed lovers will meet and seal their fates! Bolleger Jon is gonna duel phone dude to death (with children’s trading cards probably tbh) and Paul’s gonna do it back in revenge and then Anna’s gonna try to paint a sad thing to help her deal with how sad she is and she’s gonna accidentally swallow some paint and start getting really sick and pass out and then Paul’s gonna come in and think she killed herself and drink a larger quantity of paint and start to die just as Anna wakes up and then she’ll be really sad but also like “this dude is super weird and clingy” and go to paint a dick on his face and trip and stab herself through the heart with the paintbrush and then Bollege and Uni will realize their rivalry was needlessly destructive and they’ll be buried together and it’ll be very bittersweet! - penned by a very drunk Ken

Two unis, both alike in dignity,
In fair Fairliestoke, where we lay our scene...

It has been said that any kind of emotional response is the first step to beginning a personal relationship with someone. This is mostly said by apathetic and/or emotionally dead old geezers bemoaning their dull and lonely lives, but it isn't really untrue.

Wait, wait, Anna hasn't dropped out yet?

I've known many people whose initial impression of their current spouse was that they thought they were a total idiot.

And no, Anna has dropped out, we're just starting a flashback to around 18 months ago, before that went down, hence the different haircuts and stuff... Maybe I could have done a better job establishing we're now in the past...

No, I got that it's a flashback. It's just that I have difficulty imagining that Anna would've put up with university bullshit for very long: Patience with assholes wasting her time is not something I would expect of her.

Ah! Then the next page should hopefully shed a bit more light on this!

Though, in this page she claims she lasted a year.

Yeah, I duly await the lesson in how she managed to last a full year before leaving. So far we see that student drinking and collective rage--er, school spirit--events had something to do with it.

Either Anna is very good at making adjustments to her clothes, or Fairliestoke Bollege are very accommodating of her asymmetrical fashion sense :)

I went with what many ladies did when I was at uni - she got a size that was too big, then hacked at it with scissors
