"Capital-R Romantic" is a term I borrowed from one of my lecturers. Helpful in certain contexts. Like this one:

I'm not saying Seifer doesn't want to date Roxas, I just think he means capital-R Romantic.

"Good faith, this same young sober-blooded boy doth not love me, nor a man cannot make him laugh. But that’s no marvel; he drinks no wine."

True friendship is talking like a Shakespearean actor, and them doing it back to you.

Oh, Jon and Ken breaking into iambic pentameter at random times has got to be a thing that recurs.

And it's always wonderful to be able to use something you picked up that made an impact. With me, it's usually quotes from tv shows (especially those made by Joss Whedon), movies (usually bad ones, but not always), comics (certain eras like 1980s X-men and Mid 2000s DC Comics have pepperd my speech at times), and books (this one is great fun when the book in question is something like The Illuminatus! Trilogy or the Principia Discordia. I wish I had teachers of any sort that did that for me...

I feel like that has to be "their thing" now, yeah.

And yeah, I'm lucky to have had some great teachers and lecturers over the years, though I definitely pull from books, films, and TV as well!
