Don’t you hate it when you’re sitting an exam and you hallucinate your crush performing a sonnet with you? Relatable, am I right?

God I hope this one actually makes sense, I don’t know anymore, my brain is mush.

I feel bad for the person in the back.

I'm loving questions 1 and 3 - the external examiner clearly missed a spot check with that one!

There's always a "blahblah power structures" question, and the person who wrote the questions just got fed up by number 3.

Well, at least Jon is not like that guy in the background of the first panel, who seems to live after the words of Dante rather than Shakespeare:
Abandon all hope! :-D

Guy in the back realised he studied for the wrong exam. He thought this was the "shake pear" module.

All those pears shaken in vain...

Ah yes, "blah blah blah yadda yadda power structures" are a key part in Shakespeare.

There was always a question like that in my Shakespeare practice exams. I never chose it.

I'm a little tempted to answer #3. Should I? My version of an answer would be overflowing with bile and scorn.

If that one weren't there and I had to write that exam I'd go for #1. How hard is it to rant about how bloody ignorant and dimwitted the power structures are in Hamlet? I'd worry that anyone who couldn't have fun writing out free-flowing mockery, criticism and scorn about that is dangerously deficient in anarchist spirit.

Yikes! Mood whiplash alert!

I about died from laughter in those first few panels - that guy in the back, those questions - then my heart broke a bit for our lad Jon there, then died again in the end.

Not sure if it's brilliant or... No, no, just brilliant!

Like some kind of comedy sandwich? Sadness, sandwiched between two pieces of joke bread?

(thank you, your kind words always make my day)
