I don’t know what good flirting even looks like anymore, in my experience it’s all awkward, successful or otherwise, so.

Spoiler alert! It got a 6. Not bad, really. Fair criticisms, but I think that they aren't completely out of line. That said, the Favicon is a bit nit-picky really.

Hey, thanks so much for the review! Your points were all valid, and you gave me a lot to think about regarding the style, something I hadn't considered before. And thank you for the links to resources, super helpful for getting me on the right track. Thanks again!

No problem, it's a cute read. As to your friend's point above, yeah the favicon is nitpicky but details make a comic really stand out. Good luck, look forward to seeing where this goes.

But also birds of a feather flock together. Man, romantic advice is conflicting.

Is... is that flirting or teenagers being sarcastic to each other?
Oh, it's supposed to be flirting. But which one's doing the flirting? No, the answer to that question isn't necessarily obvious, sadly. (Reference: The pick up artist concept of 'negging' may apply, as well as other things.)

If the lady and Seth weren't already acquainted I'd say this could easily count as sexual harassment though: Flirting with someone while they're working a service job and expected to talk with you by their job description is a shit move. I wish that more people who try that kind of thing get splashed in motor oil for it.

Ohh yeah I was all too aware of the possible connotations here. I tried to make sure to establish A) that they already know each other, and B) that she is actually somewhat enjoying his company, albeit in her own caustic way. That being said, it's not always so easy to call these things, and I'm still kinda iffy on pages like this. Especially considering Gemma doesn't show up often enough for every reader to know who she is and what her preexisting relationship with Seth is.

Sorry to "peel back the hood" so much, you just raise an important point and I didn't want to just wave it off.

As an author and editor I know all about the, "No, I didn't mean that!" problem. The trick is to try and make it work in our favour. ;)

Well, he's having a lot more success than I did when hitting on retail workers. ._.

Well in his case he already knows her (kind of), which appears to be working in his favour
