Jon using his baby bro perks. Though, as a younger sibling, I must say this has a fairly low success rate.

I don’t think this has ever been mentioned within the comic itself, but yes, Seth is half-American on his mother’s side. But, having never been to the US, and having failed Geography, he has no real concept of just how big America is. His logic is, there are nearly as many counties in England as there are states in America, so it can’t be THAT much bigger. Nevada and Minnesota must be like a couple hundred miles down the road from each other. Basically the same place.

Being a guy that actually lives in Minnesota, I can definitely say there is quite a distance between my state and the state of Nevada (if going by car for sure).

If they were a couple hundred mils away from each other like Seth thinks, It'd be quite interesting to see Las Vegas get covered in the snowfalls we can sometimes get in Minnesota. XD

Ooh, snowy Vegas would be cool! Haha, if I'm honest Seth's mindset is not far off from my own. I look at the US on a map and think "yeah, but it can't be THAT big, right?" I just can't wrap my head around the scale.

*slow chanting on repeat* The US is twice the size of your continent... California's bigger than your country...

Yes, America really is that big. It was hilarious when my high school German class teacher told us about the exchange students from Germany wanting to see so many monuments and landmarks in one weekend. I actually laughed out loud in class, along with my more geographically capable classmates. One simply cannot drive to see Mount Rushmore, the Grand Canyon, and Yellowstone Park all in a couple of days. ;)

Haha yeah, when you're from a small island like England it's easy to get a wonky sense of perspective when it comes to other countries. The fact that you have to take planes sometimes to get across the country in the US still boggles my mind.

"The difference between America and Europe:

"In Europe, 100 miles is a long distance.

"In America, 100 years is a long time."

THEY'RE GOING TO VEGAS!

And as we all know, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas is awesome in comic form. :)

(He is going to be SHOCKED by the size difference...)
