Reading back on this after recent strips, and this honestly feels like an entirely different Paul. Maybe it's just how he is with Seth in particular? This just feels more mean-spirited than how he usually interacts with the rest of the cast in the future.

You know, I was thinking about this recently! I can't quite remember where my head was when I wrote this, but how I think of it now, it's as you say, he's only really like this with Seth. I'm planning on having this actually come up in a future chapter because I think it's an interesting side to an otherwise soft and innocuous guy.
